Entertainment

We’re thrilled to welcome these dazzling entertainers to Grand Island Pride—get ready to be wowed by their words, moves, and show-stopping talent!

Peter Brunette

A dynamic, passionate performer, Peter Brunette has entertained thousands of children and adults in more than twenty years of performing. His shows delight audiences with a mix of high energy fun, incredible feats of juggling, hilarious comedy, and death defying stunts. Whether walking on a rope high above the ground, playing with fire, juggling more balls than you can count, or interacting with an audience volunteer, Peter’s show is a bound to impress and entertain.

Peter’s Danger Circus Spectacular show combes comedy with juggling and danger stunts, as well as modern reinterpretations of traditional circus skills. Whether manipulating fire, standing on a slack rope, or juggling knives while blindfolded, this show is like nothing you have seen before!

Peter is highly sought after as a stilt walker. His strolling entertainment engages audiences with ball spinning, comedy, and more. When Peter entertains, he doesn’t just look pretty, he creates memories and experiences.

Penelope Fratelli

Thanks to her many talents and bubbly personality, "Poppin'" Penelope Fratelli is one of the most desirable acts at fairs and festivals across the country.

Hailing from Omaha, Nebraska, Penelope is known for her 1950s style and zany sense of humor. Her incredible balloons, fearless magical performances, and interactive stilt walking set her apart from other performing artists.

Penelope always knew she wanted to grow up to be an artist, but she never believed it was possible. After years of supporting herself with dead-end jobs, Penelope discovered a world of artists who make a living by spreading joy rather than making paintings. She knew she had found her passion and devoted herself to learning balloon twisting and stilt walking.

With over 37 years of dazzling entertainment, Miss Laura Grey has been a trailblazer in the art of female impersonation in the Midwest. Her captivating performances have won the hearts of audiences from coast to coast. In January 2025, Laura was honored as honorary Miss Max Forever, adding yet another accolade to her impressive collection of numerous regional, state, and local titles, along with several top-five finishes at the national level.

A passionate activist, Laura stood among over 750,000 people during the historic March on Washington on October 11, 1987, advocating for equal rights and federal funding for AIDS, an essential moment in LGBTQ history. Today, she continues her activism, championing not only gay rights but also the broader fight for human rights.

As the host of the monthly sold-out Omaha Drag Brunch and reigning Miss Tri City Pride, Laura shows no signs of slowing down. Don’t let her years fool you—she’s still stealing the spotlight!
